I was always fascinated by Glass having been to Venice and the Island of Murano several times as a Child during Holidays. From an early Age on I started collecting little Glass Figurines and Beads.
However only many Years later I started to make Jewellery and in 2009 I came across the opportunity to learn how to make Lampwork Beads.
I took a Lesson with Ray Skene and Julie Fountain and there was no turning back.
Within no time our Garage was converted into a fully equipped Glass Studio and named“ Ty Melin Glass Studio”.
I make a Variety of Beads, but have no specific Style. I enjoy making small wearable Beads, encased and with Stringer Detail and lately fell in Love with making Flower Beads. I am continuously improving my Skills through experimenting and looking for new Techniques.
I sell my Beads online in my Esty Shop and at Bead Fairs and currently started work on my own Website “ Jewlls4U” dedicated only to handmade Lampwork Beads
